I did not set out to become a cycle breaker.
I set out to survive.
Raised in a home marked by a painful divorce, resentment, and generational addiction, I learned early how to over-function, self-protect, and suppress emotion. At six years old, a violation of trust embedded beliefs I didn’t yet know I carried.
Like many women, I vowed never to repeat the dysfunction I witnessed.
Like many women, I unconsciously began to.
Motherhood changed everything.
Choosing divorce — the very thing I once swore I’d avoid — became the beginning of alignment, not failure. It was the moment I decided the cycle would end with me.
From Corporate to Calling
Before this work, I built a successful corporate career — becoming the youngest hire in a Fortune 100 HR division, co-founding a thriving consulting firm, and excelling in advertising sales.
But success without alignment leaves a quiet ache.
After years of ignoring an inner voice calling me toward writing and healing, I finally listened.
I left a lucrative career to become a certified life coach.
The leap came with doubt, guilt, and imposter syndrome — but it also brought clarity.
Healing isn’t theory for me.
It is lived embodiment.
